Guest conductors David Hill and Julian Ackerley will be selecting festival repertoire. Selections will include music of the highest artistic quality, which is challenging for the singers but within their capabilities, and diversity of programming and distinctiveness to enhance the choral experience for the singers while maintaining audience appeal.
The festival will include massed choir selections presented at three Festival Concerts in principal Arizona venues: Ardrey Auditorium in Flagstaff, Ikeda Theater at the Mesa Arts Center in the Phoenix area and the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall in Tucson. These festival programs will feature:
~ treble choir music – SSA and SSAA
~ male choir music – TTBB
~ grand finale of combined choirs – SATB
